CORONA GOES HOME!
PEANUT'S FRIENDS AND A KIND MAN REUNITE HER WITH HER
FAMILY!

From peanut's friends: I noticed an email
that sounded very familiar. I called and realized the
found dog this man has, is the lost dog I listed last
night. He had sent the email before checking the
listings and had already called the owners! Thanks to
him and peanut's friends, Corona is returning home! "thank
you so much for letting me post corona's picture, a
very kind man emailed me today saying that he had found
her and taken very good care of her. we will get her
back today! thanks again!"
ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING
WITH THE HELP OF PEANUT'S FRIENDS AND KIND PEOPLE!
Just wanted to report that
the ad that was posted on 8/15/08 for my daughter's two
dogs worked. Someone a couple of streets over from where
my daughter lives found the dogs. Our ad hadn't been
posted at the time she found them, so she called the
local Humane Society and turned them in there. We had
planned a trip to the Humane Society on Saturday any
way. She called and said that she believed she had 2
dogs that matched the description picked up by the
Humane Society. My daughter went down there and Max and
Bits were eagerly waiting. Thank You!
HAPPY ENDING FOR
YORKIE THANKS TO GOOD SAMARITANS AND PEANUT'S
FRIENDS!
To all involved,
Happy ending last night 8-15 around 930PM. We got a call
from a God sent couple named Roy and Belinda, their son
had been looking on this website and saw our posting
from earlier on Friday afternoon. They cautiously
questioned us about a dog that fit the description, he
had lost his tag and red harness. We decided to meet
them at Cookville and Winifred at 10 PM. As soon as they
turned the lights on inside car we knew it was him. A
very happy ending to a very rough week. I believe we
have a couple of friends forever now.
A warm and hearty thanks to the Lee County Animal
shelter (Shelia I believe was her name) for suggesting a
website that we had never heard of before. Do Co Animal
shelter for taking the time to allow us to walk thru the
shelter and to show concern for our loss.
There are still some great Americans in this country
that still care about their fellow countryman and last
night was proof of that.
A BIG OLE THANKS from David and Lisa!
16 YEAR OLD LAB GETS
HELP FROM GOOD SAMARITAN AND PEANUT'S FRIENDS!
Rebel, our senior citizen lab mix walked
off two days ago. Because of peanutsfriends.org we were
reunited.
He was lucky enough to wander into the right yard and
into the heart of Gail Manning who "mothered him gently"
for two days. Gail, many thanks to you and to Maria at
peanutsfriends.org for making this reunion possible.

AFTER MOVING, SPOOKY
WENT MISSING AND THEN WAS SPOTTED BY A NEIGHBOR!
Found our black cat named Spooky in Stonebridge.
Neighbor notified us there was a cat in their yard and
they knew we lost ours. Thanks for your help! in total, 2
months. The problem was we let her out at a house
we were staying at for a week until we moved into our
house, which was only down the street but enough to
scare her into hiding b/c of neighboring dogs and cats.
We would go looking for her and call her every night
and morning but no response.
HARLEY IS SPOTTED AS A
"NEW OWNER" WAS TAKING HIM FOR A WALK
WE WANTED TO UPDATE YOU ON OUR DOG HARLEY THAT WE
REPORTED MISSING ON LAST SUNDAY. LAST NIGHT WE FOUND
HIM, WE WERE THRILLED! THANK YOU ALLOWING US TO POST HIM
ON YOUR WEBSITE AND MOST OF ALL THANKS FOR CREATING THIS
SITE TO HELP PEOPLE LOCATE THEIR PETS. IT IS SO WEIRD
HOW WE GOT HIM, BUT YESTERDAY WE ATE AT A FRIENDS HOUSE
AND BEFORE DINNER I HAD RODE AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD
LOOKING FOR HIM BECAUSE WE LOST HIM ABOUT MILE OR SO
FROM WHERE SHE LIVED. ANYWAY, AFTER DINNER WE ALL WENT
OUT TO SIT ON THE PORCH AND MY FRIEND HAD A STRANGE LOOK
ON HER FACE AND SAID IS THAT YOUR DOG? I TURNED AROUND
AND THERE WAS A YOUNG BOY WALKING HIM, I ALONG WITH
HARLEY WAS SO EXCITED! THE BOY LOOKED KINDA SAD AND
EXPRESSED TO ME HOW HE BECAME SO ATTACHED TO HIM IN SUCH
A SHORT TIME. I FELT SO BAD FOR THE LITTLE GUY, SO I
GUESS I AM GOING TO VISIT THE LOCAL HUMANE SOCIETY AND
PURCHASE HIM A DOG. IS THAT NOT THE MOST AWESOME STORY
EVER!!!
HAPPY TIMES ARE HERE
AGAIN!
My family wants to thank you for putting our lost Jack
Russell Dog on your web site. Just minutes after posting
we starting getting calls from all over the area of
concern people looking for our lost pet. In less than 2
hours someone called and said they had found our little
lost friend. I just want to say thank you for all the
concern people that help with the return of our family
pet. My wife, kids and myself just want to say thank you
and God bless to all of you. thanks The Pantone family
GEORGE
PUTS AN AD IN THE PAPER AND IS
RETURNED HOME!
I had posted an ad in the local newspaper and a woman
who lives about a mile from me said an orange cat turned
up with the strays she feeds and was very friendly. If
it hadn’t been for the ads she would’ve ended up taking
him to be neutered the next day. The vet would’ve been
in for a surprise since he already is neutered! Thanks
for your help with the ad! -Amanda
BISCUIT IS BACK!
thank you so much for what you do. Biscuit was found
yesterday afternoon. She was unharmed and is happy to be
back home!
Peanut's Friends note:
Biscuit was found by a good Samaritan who took her to a
vet's office until they could locate the owner. Don't
forget to check with vet's offices for your lost pet
more than once!
BEAGLE GETS PEANUT'S
FRIENDS HELP
The attached picture of my kids and
Sky was taken last year.
Sky was passed through three additional families before
we tracked her down with a family in Leesburg that fell
in love with her and had adopted her. She started out
lost in Hickory Grove area and had a long week being
spoiled before ending up with a family in Leesburg
before we located her.
Thanks to you and Peanuts Friends we finally got a
connection that led us to findings her a week after she
ran off during the recent thunder storms.

GOD DOES IT AGAIN!
The outpouring of love and caring have touched my
heart....To All who PRAYED and sent emails, I'm so
thankful for
wonderful people like all of you, UPDATE Late yesterday
evening falling dark, I had prayed and asked God to
watch over my Deaf baby, I had to run to work (I have
the Master Key) and stopped on my way home for gas. This
still voice, said do not go home, go this way and I
thought, well it's worth a try. I went down this long
dirt road, for what seems miles
and then I got upset and said God this is not working
and I'm so sad and scared for Sugar. I stopped in the
middle of this dirt road to turn around and looked to my
right to the most beautiful site, my Sugar. I did the
come sign and she came a running, what a wonderful
God we have.... Thank you so much for people like
yourself, you made a difference just knowing you cared.
I can't say thank you enough. As much as I hate to do
this, we may have to get that invisible fence. After
going thru this, I can truly say that God gave me
this special dog, and I want to keep her happy and safe
for a long, long time.
Bless Your kindness
SPOOKY CAME HOME!

your loved ones
MAX IS BACK! 1/27/08
I wanted to let everyone know that after posting this
email last night I also posted a prayer request on
Prayers for Pets at 11:30 PM. At 1:00 AM this morning,
somehow, Max was at home again. I am so thankful that my
mother-in-law told me about this website. We are all so
happy to have Max back with his family again. If you
have lost your pet, I will tell you like everyone else
told me, don't give up, keep faith and pray!

ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING 1/25/08
WELCOME BACK WILBUR!
Wilbur went missing TWO months ago. After posting
flyers at every vets office in town, putting an ad on
this website, and a very miserable Thanksgiving and
Christmas, I finally got a phone call. He was found at
Wal-mart and has been living with a woman and her little
boy for the past couple of months. The lady went to a
vet's office to get her brothers dog some food, and she
saw Wilbur's flyer and called me!!!! It was a very
happy and emotional reunion. To anyone who is in a
situation like this, just DO NOT give up hope!
LABRADOODLE DOODLES ON
HOME!
Thanks for posting our ad for our lost chocolate
labradoodle...we have found him!!! Thanks to God.
PEANUT'S FRIENDS AND GOOD
SAMARITAN HELP DOGS!
Thanks to you, we found our dogs! About 2 hours ago, we
received a call from a woman who found them earlier
today and had been taking care of them until she found
their owner. She looked online tonight on your website
and found my number. Thank you so much for the part you
guys played in finding our babies!! We are so happy and
relieved.
SHADOW
FOUND! IN
SOUTH CAROLINA?
I apologize for not letting you know
sooner that our dog Shadow was found.
You posted it on your website for us in
Dec 2005 (It is still
there-thank you!). Unbelievably,
we were contacted 10 months later
from someone in South Carolina (we live
in Leesburg, GA) saying they
had our dog. After a short discussion
and realizing it had to be our
Shadow we made the drive there and back
the same day/night to pick him
up. All we can "guess" is someone
traveling picked him up and he
eventually got free from them and wandered into the couple's yard that
contacted us. He still had his collar/tags on after all that time!!
They contacted our vet who in turn
called us...I just want to say
thank you for having this site to help
people who have lost or found pets
and thanks for helping us
search for him by posting this for us!
SQUEAKY KITTY CAME BACK
she returned again late last night. I let her in to see
if she was frightened or hurt.
We have a lot of "visitors" that come in the yard. Once
again she seemed to be ok so
maybe she is just expressing her objection to the
changes.
I will be back to my regular routine next week so maybe
she will follow suit.
Thanks for the input
CHILD'S PUPPIES FOUND!
Puppies found!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for your
concerns.
BASSETT FOUND!
Hey we contacted the vet on the rabies tag and found the
owners!
Thanks for posting the ad!
RASCAL IS BACK!
Update to let everyone know I found Rascal! However I
would like to say that this site gave me hope as well. I
will look on here when I see a lost or stray animal to
help someone else find thier pet in return. I placed an
ad in the paper, someone was taking care of Rascal and
called. Thank You!
AUBIE IS FOUND!
Just wanted to let you know that my parents found their
boxer. She was missing for almost 3 weeks. Aubie was
lucky enough to come up in someone's yard that knows our
family about 2
miles from my parents' home. Thanks for posting it on
your website.
JUNE IS HOME!
Hi, just wanted to let you know that june the blue
heeler that was lost at the home depot has been found,
thanks to a gentlemen in albany that turned her in to
the humane society...he saw the ad in the albany herald,
and called to tell us that he had turned her in, many
thanks to him for taking care of her for the weekend,
and many thanks to the lee county and albany humane
society...they contacted us as well...thanks for posting
her...she is safe at home and smiling....
HITCHHIKER IS FOUND
I wanted to let you know that you can remove our listing
of a lost cat on 9/27/05. We described him as a
'tuxedo' cat who liked to hitch hike. He did stow away
on a service truck and took a ride to the edge of the
neighborhood. We found him a week later bothering
someone's dog about 1/2 mile away. I thought my husband
had contacted you to remove the listing and he thought I
had. Sorry, it took so long. Thanks for the service
you provide for this area!
A NEIGHBOR BROUGHT BONNIE
BACK!
Great news! Bonnie is home!!! After calling and
placing a "Lost" ad in "The Albany Herald", printing 50
flyers (for starters), visiting the Albany Humane
Society and about a dozen veterinarians' offices,
walking a 5 block radius in our neighborhood for 2 days,
and on my way out the door to visit more animal
hospitals/clinics, both the phone and the doorbell
rang. I decided to get the door and check my voicemail
afterwards. Lo and behold, one of my neighbors was
standing on my front porch with Bonnie in her arms!!!
As we all know, the joy and relief at the sight of my
beloved Bonnie was overwhelming. My husband and I have
recently moved here and haven't gotten a chance to meet
all our neighbors (although, I was about to knocking on
doors and handing out flyers), and when I saw this
lovely woman
and her family returning my baby to me, I was so
thankful to have selected a community with such
thoughtful and friendly people residing here. She told
me she saw Bonnie on her patio last night and was
surprised because she knew Bonnie couldn't be a stray.
When she saw the little beast asleep in one of her patio
chairs at 6:30 this morning, she was determined to find
out who and where the cat belonged. Of course, that was
easy with Bonnie's collar and tags. After Bonnie and I
had a chance to greet each other properly, I decided to
give the "children" (I have 2 cats) an early celebratory
homecoming dinner; she was ravenous. I then checked my
voicemail; the message was from another
kind soul who saw my post on your site and spotted a
Siamese matching Bonnie's description in her
neighborhood. I immediately returned her call and
caught her on her way out the door to the Humane
Society. Her cat baby is missing, too. I know the
heartbreak she is feeling and do so hope that she is
soon reunited with her treasure and can experience the
elation that I have. Thank you so very much for your
organization, network, website, kindness, and
responsiveness to my request for assistance. I hope all
who contact you, and even those who don't, have a happy
ending like mine. Please feel free to post all, or any
part, of this epic to your Happy Endings link. Oh, and
please pass along to Peanut's mom that my thoughts and
prayers are with them.
REMI
IS HOME AFTER 3 WEEKS!
I'm home !!! A nice family that was
moving found Me in an alley off of Oglethorpe in
East Albany. They had Me for a couple of weeks but
didn't know who I belonged to
until they saw my picture on a sign on Philema Road.
The little teenage girl that
found Me didn't want to give Me up but she did when she
saw how crazy my Daddy, Meme & Aunt Frankie acted when
they saw me. I don't know who went more berserk, them
or me.
I ran around in circles about 100 miles and hour. My
new friends knew I had found my
family. I am off to the vet this morning to get me a
new tag and a microchip
surgically inplanted. Although, I don't think I am going
to be able to get out of my daddy's
sight for a long time. Just wanted to let everyone know
that I am back home safely and
thank you all for praying for me. God does answer
prayers, even about a dog.
FLYERS
HELPED KITTY RETURN

The yellow striped cat that is the first
listing on your site has found its owner. We had a
notice in our mailbox this morning of a lost cat, and it
was a neighbor around the corner and up the street. you
can add this kitty cat to the "HAPPY ENDINGS" category.
thanks for your website. It is a great idea and tool.
Pam
BISCUIT IS HOME!
We found him! Somebody turned him into their personal
vet, and they kept him for the weekend. When they saw
the sign on Tuesday, they called and told me where he
was at and the vet turned him over to us!
Thanks for the tips- we keep an eye on this site just to
see if we can help others going through this.
Peanut's friends wrote prior
to finding him:
(Info on the importance of a
noticeable lost dog poster)...remember to physically
check the albany shelter and animal control in lee
county. you know what your pet looks like better than
anyone else. leave messages about your dog as well. you
have 4 days to claim your pet.. i'd visit at least twice
a week. many pets have been recovered with visible
flyers put up in main intersections. i hope this info
helps you. a small friendly
dog will likely be picked up by the first person he
encounters. if the person
lives in your neighborhood, you have a great chance of
finding him! advertise in the paper and
check with all vet's offices.
people "rescuing" a dog from the street would board the
animal at the vet and will likely not take him to the
shelter for fear of the animal being "put down"
PUMBA IS BACK!
I spoke with the
owners about a possible match and they told me Pumba had
been found!
A PHONE CALL BROUGHT
SHINER BACK
I got a call this afternoon from Lee Co
Animal Control and someone found my dog. Thanks for your
help!
OLD CHIHUAHUA HAS A HAPPY
ENDING
We posted our dog on your website on
6/6/07. I forgot to contact you and
let you know we found her a couple of days later.
Thanks and keep up the
good work. We think you do a very valuable service for
South Georgia.
BELLA IS HOME AFTER 3
MONTHS WITH HELP OF THE ALBANY

and skinny but otherwise in good shape. Thank you for
all your prayers!

5 WEEKS, 2 MILES, LOST
PET POSTERS, PRAYERS, AND A GOOD SAMARITAN
Who'd
thought that, by chance, the missing calico kitty would
cross the street at a pivotal moment! That is,
when a good Samaritan noticed her and then the lost cat
poster! The kitty wouldn't come to her, but her owners
rushed to the scene and called her. There was a
faint meowing in the woods and she came out... skinny
and starving! So happy to see her mum and dad!
PUPPY CAME BACK!
Great news! Coy showed up yesterday
afternoon! he is home safe now!!
thanks so much

PRISSY, THE MIRACLE DOG
MY NAME IS WANDA. I RAN AN AD WITH YOU ABOUT A LITTLE
DOG WE HAD FOUND. I FOUND HER OWNER. IT WAS AGAINST ALL
ODDS. HER MOMMA WAS A LADY I KNEW 15 OR 16 YEARS AGO.
THE LITTLE DOG (NAMED PRISSY) WAS BOUGHT FOR HER WHEN
WENDY, HER DAUGHTER DIED BY HER OTHER CHILDREN. PRISSY
WAS 10 YEARS OLD. WHEN GLORIA (HER OWNER) CAME TO SEE IF
IT WAS HER, THERE WAS NO DOUBT WHEN THEY SAW EACH OTHER
THAT PRISSY WAS HER DOG. PRISSY WAS WHINING & GLORIA WAS
CRYING. THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS THAT WERE PRAYED BY
PEOPLE IN YOUR PRAY GARDEN!! THEY CERTAINLY HELPED. GOD
BLESS EACH & EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!! PRISSY FOUND HER
OWNER!!
FOXY MAMA IS
HOME!
Hi, Thank you for your help. We found
Foxy Mama yesterday, nearly dead. We took her to the
vet, she was very dehydrated. She is doing good and is
home now. We searched endlessly , and all night I would
go out my front door and call her name hoping that she
would hear my voice and know which direction was home. I
believe this is what saved her life. She drug herself
home and was found early the next morning. Her feet will
not be touching the ground again unless I am right
beside her. Thank you again, Nina

SHEPEL

"PACKER" WAS
IN FACT "REX"... AND A LESSON ON DOG TAGS
I called a local vets office today and
gave them the rabies tag number -they were able to track
down which vets office it belonged to... I called that
office and they were able to get me in touch with the
owner. "Packer" (or Rex - as we found this morning) was
back at home by 9:30 this morning!:-) What looked like
Packer on the tag was actually (Owner's last name..
illegible) but you couldn't make out the y and the P was
actually a D...it was a bit hard to read because it was
hand etched. Just goes to show the importance of have a
personalized stamped or professional engraved tag as
opposed to etching... plus contact info would have
helped!!! Happy ending none-the-less, so I was very
glad. Although he was a very sweet boy!- Leighann
MY DADDY
PICKED ME UP FROM THE KIND PERSON
WHO FOUND ME!
Her Daddy picked her up today!
Thank you for such a wonderful site. I only hope that
if I ever lose my dog, that someone will use your site.
Her home was about 250 yards from where I found her. It
was such bitter sweet to see her go, she is such a
wonderful sweet dog...But she was very happy to see her
daddy. Many thanks, Tammy
NINA GOT

SPARKY IS
REUNITED WITH HIS MUM AND DAD
I followed your
suggestions, and sure enough someone saw my husband
putting up a flyer and called us to come get him.
Thank you for all of your help and advice. His collar
and tags
were missing. That is ok, we can get another collar and
tag.
Also thank you for accenting Sparky's article on the web
page. It really looked good. Again thanks for
everything.
CASSIE, "THE DOG", ALERTED GUARDIANS OF ZURI'S LOCATION
Zuri's home. I just wanted to send
ya a quick email to let you know. I set up that trap on
the side of the house with some of that Jack Mackrel
that it says in the kitty buffet article and right
before we went to bed Mike went out in the backyard and
was going to shine he flashlight on the side of the
house to look in the trap and he said that Cassie
started acting funny so he started walking back towards
the house and there was a black cat. he opened the back
door to call me and she came right in the house. She
didn't have her collar on though so we don't know what
happened to that. She wasn't real wet when we found her
which you think she would be since it was pouring. but
who knows. At least she's home.
RAMBO WAS
VISITING HIS GIRLFRIEND
Just wanted you to know that Rambo has
been found!! He was "chasing skirts" and was found
about a mile away from home. Our next trip with Rambo
will be to the vet to get neutered!! We rode
around surrounding neighborhoods asking anyone we saw if
they had seen Rambo. The couple that found him said
they saw him in their back yard right after we had
driven away. They put him in a cage and the next
evening they went looking for us. They remembered the
neighborhood where we live and saw the poster with our
number!! Thanks so much for
your wonderful website. Judy
PEANUT, THE

JUNIOR'S
BACK!
After escaping from
his owner's grip chasing another dog, junior's home! "I
really would like to thank you for your website and all
of your support. When I got home yesterday, Junior was
sitting on my porch. I was so excited. I had already
visited the shelter and made up signs, but I didn't mind
all of that effort. I was just so glad he was home. You
have a wonderful thing with this website. Thank you."
Amber
CHEERIO,
CHAPS!

I just wanted to thank you for posting the 2 English
mixes on your website. They came home yesterday on their
own. My Mom went to leave and there they were sitting on
the back porch. They are a little cut up in some spots,
but at least they are home safe. Thank you for all you
do.... I guess that Tornado Thursday night made them
think twice about gallivanting.

thing...I hope one day Peanut finds his way back to
you!!
Peanut's mom reply: "I hope so, too...."
TWO HAPPY
ENDINGS!
From
Tonya: I wanted to let everyone know that I have both of my yorkies
back. We had ran an ad in the paper and we got a call
from someone that knew where one of the dogs were. Then
a week later my mother in law put posters out (going by
your advice on how to make them), and the person that
had her dog called her and took her back to her. It was
really a miracle that we got both of the dogs back. They
went missing together, but 2 different people picked
them up. I appreciate what you offer here on your
site, not too many people have the care and compassion
you do, thanks for your help.
God bless
FOUND DOG
REUNITED AFTER ESCAPE FROM CAR
THE LITTLE DOG'S OWNER CLAIMED
HER AT DOCKERY, WILLIAMS, DERISO, AND ODOM THIS
AFTERNOON. SHE, THE OWNER, WAS GETTING OUT OF THE CAR
AT THE KMART AND THE DOG JUMPED OUT. SURE GLAD I WAS
THERE CAUSE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN A PANCAKE ON THE DAWSON
RD. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO.
AMAZING
GRACE BROUGHT DOGS BACK!

I have wonderful news. my lost dogs came waltzing into
the yard after a
week, like nothing happened. they were both a little
thinner and covered
with dried swamp mud. the pitt had 2 swollen areas on
his face. my family
had a joint prayer on Christmas day for the dogs to come
home. they came
home the next day. Thanks for all your help. it is very
helpful to have
encouragement from the website and emails. And thank
the Lord for bringing
them home safely.
MEOW MEOW'S
GREAT ADVENTURE

Meow Meow escaped through a
cracked window in his house. Never being outside before,
he panicked and went into hiding in silence mode.
His family spotted him, but he ran! (normal for an
indoor cat to do in unknown territory. The baited
humane traps were set, and, when they thought meow meow
was caught, they found out it was a stray, starving cat
instead who they have since decided to adopt if no one
claims her. Not to worry, though... Meow Meow kept
coming back at night, and would leave. A neighbor a
couple of houses down spotted Meow Meow under her
house... he's been eating her cats' food so was never
hungry enough to get in the traps. He finally
relaxed and came up to his very happy family! Now,
he's home!!!!
SPIKEY'S
RETU RN HOME
From Terri: He is found!!! Spikey was very lucky
because he found the Langs the same day he went missing
and they lovingly took care of him. They called the
Humane Society on Thursday Nov. 16 and I called the same
day. Thank you for your help and advice. We are very
fortunate to have people like you in this community that
cares for animals.
PEANUT'S MOM
HELPED REUNITE TWO DOGS WITH THEIR OWNERS IN ONE
DAY!
From Peanut's
Mom: I found a dog running on the street. He was
very tired, thirsty, and fresh out of the woods (he had
green sticky things all over him!) After driving
around the neighborhood, and putting up signs, I took
him to a vet's office for him to spend the night, and
they recognized him as one of their clients! The owner
stopped by later that afternoon to get him. At the
same time, someone saw my sign and wanted to know if
perhaps it was THEIR dog. It wasn't, but Peanut's
Friends had their dog listed as FOUND by someone else!
They were very happy to have Sam back!
From Heather: Hi! I
spoke with you on the phone last night. I wasn't able to
call you back last night, but after my boyfriend and I
got your message, we contacted the people. They were the
sweetest couple off Lansing Drive, and they had Sam!!!
We were so excited to have him home. How he ended up
almost 15 miles from home, we have no clue, but we thank
God he is back with us. Thanks so much for your
help!!!!!
PATRICK AND
CHAUCER RETURN AFTER A DAY OF
ADVENTURE
From Crystal: They just came
home!!!!!!They seem to be o.k. It looks like they might
have taken a swim in the river. Thank
you, so much for
your services. At least
it gives the owners a sense that they are doing something and lots of good
helpful information that people might not know
otherwise. Thanks again.
BOXER GOES HOME
From Leslie: I appreciate
your help. I think I have found the owner!

HOT
DIGGETY DOG, I'M BACK!
My human found me by putting
posters up. I was thin, hungry, full of fleas, and glad
to be home!
KITTEN IS
HOME
I put up "found" signs on the local country store doors
and a neighbor of the people saw it. Apparently the
kitten took a ride up under a vehicle a short distance.
Thanks, Diane
BLACK
LABS RETURN HOME AFTER THE OWNER AND THE PERSON
WHO FOUND THEM CONTACT PEANUT'S FRIENDS!
A Peanut's Friends record:
One day! If the owners would've emailed me their
phone number, the reunion would've been the same day.
RUSTY IS
BACK!
From Andrew: I just wanted to thank you all for your
support and help in the search for my Jack Russell
Terrier mix that was lost in NW Albany. He is home safe,
and couldn't be any happier. Thanks again!
PEANUT'S FRIENDS WRITES:
"Rusty's owner personally went to the shelter to find
Rusty there.
It's very important that you,
not only contact the area shelters and leave flyers with
a picture and information, but that you also
physically check the shelter no less than twice a week."
WE FOUND OUR
DOG
From David and
Cindy: Hey! Just wanted to let you know we found
our rat terrier so you can remove our ad. Wanted to say
that even though she wasn't found through this web site
that we think this is a great service and to thank you
so much for having it.
JERSEY COMES
BACK
After being adopted out,
Jersey missed her foster mom and dog siblings. She
jumped the 5-foot fence, then back in, then back out and
disappeared for 2 very long nights! She was
spotted at her point of escape, and her very relieved
foster mom picked her up, took her to the vet, then home
to her dog siblings.
BLACK LAB
RETURNS HOME AFTER GOOD
SAMARITAN POSTS FOUND DOG FLYERS
From Leah: I kind of
figured he hadn't got too far from home. He was old and
could tell he was tired from roaming, was happy to find
relief, jumped right in the car, not 1/4 mile from my
house. Leary road is dangerous, didn't want him on it,
even if he knew his way. I put up flyers around the
area, thanks to Country Corner and several stop signs on
small streets in the area. The owner saw a flyer and
responded. It took a few days. He was about two miles
from home. Thanks again for your website, it works, and
would like for it to be more advertised than it is.
Just doing what is right. Thanks again, Leah

around Christmas. Even though we never located
their owners, they found a new and happy home and
they are staying together.
BLACK LAB'S PERSON LOCATED
From Lee and Kim: The black lab's
owner has been found. He contacted the Humane Society
who put him in contact with me. Thanks for all you do.
CHAMP IS
BACK!
From the Meek Family: Champ is home!
My son and I put out flyers from one end of Sylvester to
the other tonight. I told him that I hoped our hard
work and effort paid off.
Luckily a lady police officer in Poulan Ga. knew where
to find him. Only one hour after we got back from
putting up flyers I got the call. One week later Champ
is finally home! I got home and put Champ in the bed
with my sleeping son...he thought he was dreaming.
Thank you peanuts friends for giving us a place for
hope...hope that all of our beloved pets will come home
safe! Thanks so much to the lady K-9 handler of Poulan,
Ga. who went the extra mile and to the man who fed and
gave him shelter.
DOG IS BACK
HOME
From Suzanne: Today I
used your web site to locate the owner of a sweet,
pretty dog that was found last week by a neighbor.
The lady who owns the dog asked me to tell you thank you
for your web site. You may remove the ad which was
posted 1/5/06 for a Rat Terrier lost in Lee County.
I appreciate all the work
you do to reunite pets and their owners!!
SENIOR DOG
IS BACK WITH FAMILY
From Lee and Kim: The owner of the
Schnauzer we found has been located and he is back
home. The dog is a 13-year-old family pet that had
slipped out of the fence. They contacted us through the
message we left at the Humane Society.
Thanks for the help and the great work you do.
DOLLY
IS HOME!
From April: After
a month long search for my kitty Dolly, she is back home
safe. I found her this evening in a rain gutter
about a block from where we lived. She is adjusting slowly
to being indoors again, but completely relieved that she
is no longer out in the wild. She has lost a good
bit of weight, but looks to be in good condition. Thank you for
the listing and for all the prayers!
Christmas came early for me.
SMILEY CAME BACK!
From Angela: "Could
you remove the posting for Smiley? She came home two
days before Christmas. I am so happy to see her!"
SHE'S
STAYING
From Ronnie: This is
to let you know that you can remove the notice I had
placed about the found dog. Since no one has
called to claim her in the 5 months we've had her,
we are going to keep her.
HERSHEY FOUND!
From Debra: "Just a quick
note to let you know my dog Hershey was found this
evening. She appears to be fine, just a little worn
out from her weekend of running around the area.
You have a real nice website and I hope everyone
finds their pets."
SHE'S HOME!!
How? Picked up by
Animal Control
From Amy: "We found her!!!!! The humane society
picked her up. Thank God. I think that your
website is great. Keep up the good work."
FAMILY PET HOME SAFE
How? Found pet
listing in paper
From Nichole: "Thank you so much for placing my ad
on your site. Fortunately, I located Diego this
morning. An ad was placed in the Albany Herald for
a large dog that was found and taken to Leesburg
Animal Hospital. I called and identified him this
morning and will be going to pick him up shortly.
What a happy ending!"

KITTY RETURNED TO OWNER
From Jimmy and Lisa: "I
posted an ad on your website about a cat that I found.
I have located the cat's owners and she has been
returned. Thank you for running the ad during my search
for her home!"
COLONEL SANDERS HELPS BRING KITTY HOME!
How?
www.catsinthebag.org suggestions, Traps, Patience,
and KFC chicken
From Maria: "I rescued a little feral (afraid of
people) kitten only to have him escape after just
arriving at my house. It was his first day off the
streets. He headed toward the woods behind my house and
was so scared that when he saw me coming, he ran. I set
three traps and bought fast food, sardines, canned cat
food, but all I could catch were raccoons and opossums.
I decided to close the traps at night and reset them
early in the morning. I would catch glimpses of the
kitty next to the trap, but still no luck...that is
until I headed to KFC and bought an original recipe
thigh piece. I called for the kitty in the morning
after I heated the chicken in the microwave (for
"smelling purposes") and heard him meow at me, but he
still wouldn't come near. I said a little prayer, went
to work, and when I came home for lunch, there he was!!
It took three days and four nights, but he's home and it
was worth it!
PICASSO FOUND!
How? Spotted by kind
stranger
From Donna: "Our Italian Greyhound ran out the door of
my daughter's house while we were visiting her from
Atlanta. I was devastated. Luckily, I got him back a
few days later. A fisherman spotted him in the woods.
He had a couple of scratches and it took him a minute to
understand who I was, but he finally came to me. Thank
you for all your help and prayers!"
BLUE TICK COONHOUND FINDS
NEW HOME
From Donna: "I just wanted to
update you about the blue tick coonhound I found in
December. Although I never found her owner, I did find
a good home for her. She now has a loving home in the
country and a new name - Bella. Thank you for trying to
locate her owner. Your website is wonderful and will be
a blessing to many animals!
HUSKY RETURNED TO OWNER
How? Peanut's Friends
website
From Elaine: "The husky I found and emailed you about
is home safe and sound. This site helped his owners
find their dog. I didn't even know about this site
until I found that dog and was trying to locate his
owners. Thank you for this service! It was such a
sweet reunion of owners and their dog. I appreciate
it."
BELLA IS HOME AGAIN
How? Microchip
"My name is Lauren and here is
my "happy endings" story. On November 5, 2003 my home
was broken into and jewelry and a camera was stolen.
Much to my dismay my darling French Bulldog, Bella, was
also missing that day. She was the love of my life and
I cried and cried. Then I tried to find her or get her
back some how. I did everything I could - put up flyers
everywhere, ran ads in the newspaper, had pictures and
info listed on French Bulldog rescue networks, contacted
3 psychics. I prayed a lot and even had her listed on
prayers for pets. Five long months later I got a call
from the dog pound. Someone had finally turned her in
as a stray and with the microchip she had they contacted
me. I finally got my dear girl back after five long
months of praying and missing her. It was a true
miracle. My prayers were finally answered."
