Posted 8/19/10 We have been 'adopted' by a puppy with big feet. She showed up at our front door on Creekside Drive in Leesburg about the 8th of August . She must have been kept inside because she kept scratching at the door to get in. She is very loving and affectionate to people. She is a reddish brown with longish soft ears. She seems to be about 4 months old--still has puppy teeth.

Posted 8/17/10 I live off Somerset Drive. A Beagle came into my yard this morning. He tried to get inside, so I believe he is used to being inside. I left the fence gate open so he could get to the water/dry food I set out for him. It left in the afternoon, looked to be searching for its owner, but returned tonight, tired, scared, a...nd hungry. Posted 8/15/10 There is a large black and white collie hanging around our house around 2nd. It is very sweet and obviously someone's dog. Posted 7/28/10 This dog was found at Auto Max on the corner of Oglethorpe and Radium Springs Rd. He was found showed up there last Wednesday I believe on the 21st. Someone called the dog pound and they were going to pick it up and said they would put him to slept in a few days if not claimed.My husband told them he would bring the do...g home and try to find the owner. I have called all of the veterinarians and the humane society's and no one has reported him missing. If you can help it would be great! Posted 7/8/10 I just saw a dog get hit by a truck on Old Leesburg Rd today. he came running from Lovers Lane... He was laying there for a minute and then stood up just standing there looking dazed in the middle of the road... I pulled over and jumped out of my car so I could try to help him and he took off running in the woods across from Lovers Lane... He's badly hurt and he might have an owner around that area, he was black and about medium size but still looked like he was a puppy... I didn't know what else to do, hopefully you can get the word out in case he has an owner...

That is not anywhere near her home, she does not know to be scared of roads. Posted 5/3/10 Saw small white/cream colored Chihuahua type dog on Whisperwood St off of Gillionville in Albany around 8am on Monday, May 3rd. Not sure if was lost or not but it was in dangerous spot on Whisperwood at this time of the morning and it being so small and hard to see. Both I and a car coming from opposite location had to stop it as it crossed the road. A couple of other cars and a school bus also had to stop to avoid it as it walked back and forth across Whisperwood. It had a collar with a red tag hanging and I got out to get phone number off tag but when I called to it, it just barked and walked away. I saw it last around 1682 Whisperwood. I have lost a 6 month old black lab. This dog belonged to my child so its very important that I find him....he is just bummed about his puppy not being home.He went missing on Friday, April the 9th near Lee County Primary School. Posted 4/10/10 Found large black/white dog today near Terrell/Lee County Line off Pinewood. He's been neutered and is very friendly and gentle. Won't jump on you but will jump in the car. His back leg seems a little stiff and he possibly could have fallen off the back of a truck. Appears to like trucks a lot. No collar but looks well nourished. Posted 3/26/10 I just spotted a black with some tan Dachsund near PPMH. I do not know if it was a male or female. I could not tell if it had a collar on. It was standing in the intersection of Monroe and 4th and had been there for at least 10-20 minutes wandering in the rush hour traffic. The pup seemed confused and when approached by myself and another person, it ran up 4th and across a busy road onto Rawson Circle. When I last saw the pup, it went into a backyard at the corner of Rawson Circle and 4th Avenue.

LOST Posted 3/12/10 2 miniature schnauzers. One went missing on Tuesday From Edgewood and 2nd Ave. Albany, Ga, right by Dollar General. last seen 8 p.m. In the Merry Acres/Kimbrell Stern area. He is platinum color, ears clipped, namedTracker. The otherwent missing around 5 p.m. Wednesday. last seen in the same area. salt and pepper, 6 lbs ears are not clipped but stand straight up name is Lady. We think the dogs were let out intentionally because our gates stay locked with clips. We also had break ins in all the cars on the entire street the night before, and we believe they let the dogs out so they would not bark while they rummaged through all of the cars. Someone may have the dogs as their pets. I have a feeling someone is going to try and keep the dog as their own. I pray we find our babies!

URGENT ALERT: ZEN was stolen from her family 3 days ago in DEKALB COUNTY, GA. Zen's owner, Mack, was walking her outside their home in the POST OAK DRIVE APARTMENT COMPLEX. He was held at gun point, robbed and then the men stole ZEN (the dog) and took off. The robbers were later caught by police and are in jail however........., there has been no sing of ZEN. She is a SPECIAL NEEDS dog and her family is desperate to find her. They have started a Facebook page and there are many stories about this on the local news and in the newspapers.

We were traveling between Tennessee and Texas for Thanksgiving when he went missing.
Blue has the appearance of a puppy, but is 7 yrs. old. He has seizure disorder, breathing problems and severe allergies to vaccinations. Me and my family are heartsick.. we have cried everyday over this loss... it is like loosing our child. Please, please help bring him home. New information is that he was seen being picked up by two women in a tan car in Rougon, Louisiana with Georgia plates. They did stop to ask if the dog belonged to someone in the neighborhood, but that person didn't realize the dog was visiting with people from out of town. Our house is just off of Highway 19 in Leesburg about 2 miles past the Lee County Prison going towards Smithville. I have proof of ownership that includes her picture. Posted 8/24/09 I found a dog yesterday (August 20th) in the middle of Old Smithville Road. I pulled over and he barged his way into my car and hopped in my backseat. I was in shock, so I just closed the door and brought him on home! It was a crazy situation, but I know he has to have an owner. He is extremely smart, gentle, and obedient.....and obviously likes to ride in cars! He is very thin, so I am assuming he has been missing for some time. No tags or collar. He looks like a pit bull/lab mix. He has been taken to the vet and has been de-wormed and been treated for an injured eye. Might be a little old or may appear to be old because of being malnourished. If anyone is missing a dog with this description and you live anywhere between Albany and Americus, please contact me with a description and proof of ownership. Posted 6/19/09 found on 6/13/09 – small black & tan dog in Indian Creek Subdivision area (off Lockett Station). He followed us home while we were walking our dog Saturday morning and has been on our breezeway ever since. Looks like a cross between a min-pin and a dachshund. Very sweet, friendly with my other pets, and is obviously someone’s beloved pet – he loves to cuddle and get on laps, and tries to come in the house or get in my truck to “go riding”. I’ve seen no “Lost Dog” signs, and I will be contacting the Humane Society today to see if he’s been reported missing with them. If not, I will have to call Animal Control. It is far too hot for him to be outside all day. UPDATE. DOG IS AT HUMANE SOCIETY

and thought I would try it. Sambo is a dachshund/poodle who went missing from our home in rural Randolph County, just outside of Cuthbert, GA in early November 2008. He turned 3 in September 2008. Sambo has a daschund shaped body and ears with wiry, thick, semi-curly hair. He is mostly black with some brown mixed in. He almost has a brindle look to him. He is a very happy and sweet natured dog. Sambo also answers to Bobo. He was not wearing a collar. His collar had gone missing about a week before he went missing. He spent most of his time in our house and went outside to run and use the bathroom and he always came right back. I get the feeling that someone may have taken him. Bobo is a very important member of our family and we all miss him so much. I am willing to offer a reward for his safe return. Please bring my baby home.
